The Milwaukee Brewers are one win away from making franchise history—and giving fans a tasty reward.

If the Brewers defeat the Seattle Mariners Tuesday night, they’ll clinch a 12-game winning streak for only the third time in team history. The milestone would also trigger George Webb’s legendary burger giveaway.

The promotion dates back to the 1940s and became official in 1965, when the restaurant painted the promise on its walls: free burgers for all if the hometown team wins 12 straight.

“Milwaukee has a chance at 12 straight wins when they play Seattle tonight,” said Ryan Stamm, vice president of George Webb Restaurants. “We’re prepping our all-star team to serve up free burgers as Milwaukee edges closer to 12 straight victories.” (RELATED: Brewers’ Jacob Misirowski Sets All-Star Record, Defies Critics)

The last time Brewers fans scored free burgers was in 2018, when lines wrapped around George Webb locations across the city. One Brookfield restaurant hyped up the possibility on Facebook Monday: “Two more to go, and it’s free burger time. Let’s go Crew!!”

If the Brewers pull off the win, George Webb will announce the date and time of the giveaway. (RELATED: Brewers Push Forward with Pride Night Celebration)

First pitch is scheduled for 8:40 p.m. CT at Seattle’s T-Mobile Park.
