Republican Senate candidate Eric Hovde made his second visit to the southside of Milwaukee, emphasizing his commitment to the economic well-being of the Latino community, which represents the largest Latino population in Wisconsin.
Hovde’s visit included a tour of local businesses, where he highlighted Del Valle Oaxaqueño, praising its pastries and food in a Twitter statement. Hovde visit was focus on the most pressing issues of all Americans- inflation and how businesses are grappling with the rising cost of goods, services and labor.
In his very first campaign stop, Hovde engaged in a roundtable discussion with community leaders at Lareños in Milwaukee. The discussion focused on the everyday challenges faced by the community, particularly issues related to inflation, the border and crime.
Hovde expressed his concern about the impact of these issues on Latino families, arguing that current policies supported by Senator Tammy Baldwin, who aligns closely with President Biden’s administration, are exacerbating these problems.
