In his very first campaign stop, Hovde engaged in a roundtable discussion with community leaders at Lareños in Milwaukee. The discussion focused on the everyday challenges faced by the community, particularly issues related to inflation, the border and crime.

Hovde expressed his concern about the impact of these issues on Latino families, arguing that current policies supported by Senator Tammy Baldwin, who aligns closely with President Biden’s administration, are exacerbating these problems.
