As grassroots Democrats continue to demand more confrontational tactics to oppose the current Presidential administration, one group of demonstrators chose a bizarre tactic to voice their dissatisfaction with the recently passed ‘Big Beautiful Bill’.

In a protest sponsored by the Southern Wisconsin Grassroots Network and Working Families Party and that included a former Democratic Party chairwoman, roughly two dozen demonstrators delivered a coffin to the home of Representative Bryan Steil, R-Wi.

The protest was emblematic of a liberal grassroots that has demanded more aggressive tactics to oppose Republican immigration policies and legislation such as the Big Beautiful Bill.

The incident was reported to the Capitol Police and perceived by many, including Representative Steil, as a threat. (RELATED: Viral App for Women Hacked Exposing Thousands of Unsuspecting Men)

“It’s disappointing that Democrat leadership and the radical left resort to these type of tactics,” Steil told Fox News Digital. “I remain committed to my work to get this country back on track and will not be deterred by their threats.”

Steil’s Republican colleagues in the House were quick to condemn the incident as an unnecessary and alarming escalation by Democratic Party activists.

Representative Tom Tiffany, R-Wi, pointed out that it was not the first time that Wisconsin legislators have received concerning threats since President Trump took office.

The incident that Representative Tiffany is referring to occurred in April when a volunteer for the Democratic Party of Brown County made violent threats against Representative Tony Wied, R-Wi. (RELATED: Congress Weighs Tariff Rebate Checks as Revenue Reaches Record Levels)

The volunteer reportedly said that Wied “should be given the death penalty” and made other threatening comments in an email that is also being investigated by Capitol Police.
