Last week, Milwaukee County Executive, and gubernatorial candidate, David Crowley criticized the U.S. Men’s Hockey team on social media after their call with President Trump celebrating the gold medal win.
Since the 1980 “Miracle on Ice,” the U.S. Men’s Hockey team has yet to win a gold medal at the Olympics. On the final day, the U.S. Men’s Hockey Team hoisted their first gold medals in over 40 years. In the aftermath, celebration ensued in the U.S. locker room, including FBI director Kash Patel drinking and celebrating with the U.S. team.
Included in that celebration, President Trump called the team to congratulate them on the win and invite them to the White House. The President mentioned that he’d “have to“ invite the Women’s team to the White House as well to avoid being impeached to which the Men’s Hockey team laughed in reaction. This comment has some people up in arms thinking Trump and the Men’s Hockey Team are anti-woman sexists who don’t respect women’s sports.
Including County Executive Crowley, who posted on X on Monday of his disapproval of the comments and reaction from the Men’s team. He then implicates Tom Tiffany in his post, saying that his endorsement from President Trump somehow makes Tiffany “turn his back on female veterans.” (RELATED: Trump Promotes SAVE Act in State of Union Speech)
Radio host Dan O’Donnell also replied to Crowley’s post. “How about all the women who work for you who didn’t have health insurance for nearly a month because of your rank incompetence? Planning on making any videos for them?”
Of everything that transpired, Democrats have only focused on the joke made by President Trump. They have made sexist accusations to not only Kash Patel and President Trump, but the entire Men’s Hockey team and everyone who is endorsed by President Trump.
