Over the weekend, two men have been charged and arrested after placing an incendiary device under a FOX 13 News Van less than an hour away from the murder scene of Charlie Kirk

The men placed and lit an incendiary device under the van in a neighborhood in the city of Magna, Utah. The device was found on Friday, and officials say it was lit but malfunctioned and did not detonate. While not detonated, the device prompted an evacuation of the nearby area.

The incident took place about 45 minutes away from the campus where Charlie Kirk was murdered last week. (RELATED: Utah Student Tyler Robinson Accused in Charlie Kirk Assassination)

The suspects, Adeeb Nasir, 58, and Adil Justice Ahmed Nasir, 31, were taken to jail and face multiple charges, including Threat of Terrorism, Possessing Weapons of Mass Destruction, and Possessing Explosive Devices.

According to FOX 13, the FBI, Utah Police, and Unified Fire Bomb unit executed an overnight warrant and sweep on the home of the suspects. While the suspects were apprehended, they told the police there were two more “hoax weapons of mass destruction” and that the devices were “real.” However authorities determined the devices to be fake and no threat.

The suspects house also displayed anti-Trump signs including “Let’s go Taco” and “Is he dead yet?” likely referring to President Trump. (RELATED: Waukesha’s Rat Problem Persists as Mayor Reilly Leaves Office With Key Issues Unresolved)

“Although the warrant was issued for the search of evidence related to the incendiary devices found under the FOX 13 News vehicle, law enforcement officials “observed additional contraband and evidence of crimes outside the scope of the original warrant, to include firearms and firearm related items, explosives and explosive-related components, illegal narcotics and associated paraphernalia, as well as electronic devices reasonably believed to contain evidence” of the original device that was discovered,” according to Fox 13.
